How to get to Komune
Komune sits on the east coast near Keramas, about 30–40 minutes from Sanur (or 45–60 from Kuta) via the Prof. Ida Bagus Mantra bypass — a fast, well-surfaced coastal road that makes this one of the easier out-of-town missions in Bali. By scooter (rental IDR 70,000–100,000/day) it is a straightforward run north along the bypass with signs for Komune Beach Resort; a Grab or Gojek car from Sanur costs roughly IDR 100,000–150,000 one way, though arranging a return pickup is wise as passing rides out here are scarce. Park at the Komune Resort parking area, then it is a short walk across the black sand to the water.
